Perseverance, focus, and practice have led, St. Mary’s University student, Pablo Muniz to be the talented musician he is today. Tuning in to the rhythm of the music his voice, while playing the piano, brought to life the practice that made his music perfect.
Energetic butterflies fill my stomach from the excitement of starting Spring Semester 2012. My classes this semester are going to be a challenge to my time management. Out of all my classes, I believe that Media Production II is going to be the most challenging for a couple of reasons. First, I am not a proficient user of the Mac Computers. Secondly, I do not like to spend a lot of time on the computer. Third, these challenges cause me to get headaches after only using the computer for a little bit. I believe I can overcome these challenges by investing enough time in the Mac Lab for me to become proficient with the computers and their programs.
I look forward to working outside of the classroom on projects that involve interacting with people such as, interviews. By merging the tools I acquire in Media Production II and in Print Journalism class, I know I will become a well-rounded student in the field of Communication. This is important because no matter what field one is in, communication is always going to be the most effective way to succeed in it. I am excited to learn the work of a reporter—written and oral.
Lastly, I look forward to the bumps in the road of learning that improve the pavement of education. The critiques that I receive from my professors and peers will only improve my skills in class. Working hard with a positive attitude I am ready to take on the challenges that may arise this semester.
